NEW YORK, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 60 km SSW of La Libertad, El Salvador, at 21:57:56 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 33.9 km, was initially determined to be at 13.00 degrees north latitude and 89.56 degrees west longitude. ■
