5.2-magnitude quake hits Pagan region, Northern Mariana Islands -- USGS

BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Pagan region, Northern Mariana Islands at 1243 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 130.7 km, was initially determined to be at 18.67 degrees north latitude and 145.83 degrees east longitude. ■
