BEIJING, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 23 km SW of Lamont, CA at 0409 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 11.7 km, was initially determined to be at 35.11 degrees north latitude and 119.09 degrees west longitude. ■
