NEW YORK, Jul. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Samoa Islands Region at 2024-07-15 17:40:18 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 16.52 degrees south latitude and 172.38 degrees west longitude. ■
