NEW YORK, June 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted New Guinea, Papua New Guinea, at 22:00:54 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.00 degrees south latitude and 141.97 degrees east longitude. ■
