NEW YORK, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Philippine Islands region at 21:35:36 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.12 degrees north latitude and 127.03 degrees east longitude. ■
