BEIJING, Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne will pay an official visit to China from Jan. 22 to 28.
Gaston Browne, 57, has been consecutively served as a member of parliament since 1999 and was elected leader of the country's Labor Party in November 2012.
He became prime minister in June 2014 and was re-elected in March 2018 and January 2023.
The upcoming visit is Browne's second to China as prime minister. ■
