NEW YORK, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 3 km WSW of Salcha, Alaska, at 21:34:34 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.4 km, was initially determined to be at 64.51 degrees north latitude and 146.97 degrees west longitude.
