NEW YORK, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 jolted 114 km WSW of Neiafu, Tonga, at 22:12:21 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 231.7 km, was initially determined to be at 18.94 degrees south latitude and 175.02 degrees west longitude. ■
