NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 105 km NW of Gizo, Solomon Islands, at 21:30:59 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 26.4 km, was initially determined to be at 7.48 degrees south latitude and 156.11 degrees east longitude. ■
