NEW YORK, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Solomon Islands at 21:31:10 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 114.8 km, was initially determined to be at 7.64 degrees south latitude and 156.17 degrees east longitude. ■
