AUSTIN, the United States, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Computer giant Lenovo Group unveiled a comprehensive vision of "AI for All" at its Tech World 2023 conference on Tuesday in Austin, Texas, while deepening cooperation with its key global partners.
The company is working on the next generation of AI-ready and AI-optimized infrastructure to bring powerful, tailored, scalable and energy-efficient AI to customers worldwide through a hybrid approach.
"This (event) is also a celebration of partnerships with key leaders in the AI era," Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang said in his keynote address, "Together, we are unleashing the power of AI to help build a smarter, more inclusive, and more sustainable world."
Lenovo plans to deliver industry-leading AI technology to organizations of all sizes, Yang told participants, adding that the company believes public, private and personal foundation models will co-exist to enable AI for All.
On stage, Yang and Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of U.S. computer giant NVIDIA, announced an expanded partnership with new hybrid solutions and engineering collaboration to deliver the power of generative AI to every enterprise.
Through the collaboration, Lenovo and NVIDIA will create next-generation systems based on NVIDIA's flexible MGX modular reference design to deliver a wide range of robust and secure solutions for the most demanding generative AI workloads, helping businesses implement cognitive decisions at scale with the NVIDIA Omniverse platform.
"With generative AI driving the greatest technology transformation of our time, enterprises are seeking solutions that give them the flexibility to develop and deploy workloads across their workstations, data centers and clouds," said Bob Pette, vice president of Enterprise Platforms at NVIDIA.
"NVIDIA and Lenovo are providing a comprehensive portfolio of hybrid AI systems that businesses can rely on to power generative AI from virtually anywhere," he said.
Via video, Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella said his company's long-standing partnership with Lenovo is critical.
"Over the years, we've brought Lenovo's devices and services together with the power of technology to help customers around the world," Nadella said. ■
