NEW YORK, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted off the west coast of northern Sumatra at 17:47:21 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 0.87 degrees north latitude and 93.12 degrees east longitude. ■
