WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 (Xinhua) -- An evacuation order was issued for a building of the Howard University, in the U.S. capital Washington, D.C., on Friday.
The university's public safety department tweeted that all individuals at the Mudd Building "must evacuate immediately."
"A police investigation is underway. Please avoid the area," the department added.
It remains unclear what prompted the evacuation. ■
