NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- A 6.2-magnitude earthquake jolted 59 km S of Corinto, Nicaragua at 16:25:08 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 27.47 km, was initially determined to be at 11.9454 degrees north latitude and 87.2005 degrees west longitude. ■
