NEW YORK, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Contradictory public health decisions by U.S. employers, government officials and other institutions are frustrating and exhausting Americans amid surging Omicron cases, CNBC has reported.
As Omicron has rapidly become the dominant COVID-19 variant in the United States, a jumbled and contradictory response can be seen across the country, said the report on Tuesday.
A lack of leadership, both federally and locally, has led to small factions operating in their own self-interest rather than following a unified policy, it said.
