SARAJEVO, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina's (BiH) Border Police said on Tuesday that it prevented the smuggling of seven foreign nationals in the northwestern town of Velika Kladusa.
The foreigners were discovered on Monday during border surveillance and a check of a passenger car with BiH license plate as part of an operation aimed at preventing illegal migration.
The driver who has dual citizenship of BiH and Croatia, was questioned as a suspect under orders from the BiH Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH. Evidence potentially relevant to criminal proceedings was seized during a search.
The seven foreigners, including six Bangladeshi nationals and one Afghan national, were handed over to the BiH Service for Foreigners' Affairs. ■
