BEIJING, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted 76 km northeast of Ozernovskiy, Russia at 0335 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 143.2 km, was initially determined to be at 52.01 degrees north latitude and 157.25 degrees east longitude. ■
