TBILISI, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development Mamuka Mdinaradze announced his resignation Thursday and said he will leave politics.
"I have decided to step down from my post and leave politics," Mdinaradze told reporters.
He headed Georgia's State Security Service before becoming deputy prime minister and state minister for coordination of law enforcement bodies in April 2026. He took charge of the Ministry of Regional Development in July. ■
