BELGRADE, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- Huawei's consumer business continued to grow in the Serbian market, with the company ranking first by market share in wearables and true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, according to data released by Huawei on Tuesday.

At a product launch event in Belgrade, Steven Huang, general manager of Huawei Consumer Business Group Serbia, said Huawei's wearable device sales in Serbia grew 49 percent year-on-year in the first quarter of 2026, with its unit market share reaching 33.5 percent, ranking first in the market.

In the audio segment, Huawei held a 30-percent market share in the TWS earbuds segment priced above 25 U.S. dollars, also ranking first, Huang said.

In the tablet segment, Huawei's unit market share reached 11.9 percent in June. Data provided by the company showed that Huawei currently ranks third in Serbia's tablet market.

Huawei's wearable devices also ranked first by market share in Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia and Greece, according to the company.

"We are growing across different product categories," Huang said, adding that strong performance across product categories has contributed to the growth of Huawei's consumer business in Serbia.

At Tuesday's event, Huawei introduced its Pura 90s smartphone series to the Serbian market, including the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max. The company also unveiled the MatePad Air tablet, FreeClip 2s wireless earbuds, and Watch Kids X1.

More than 200 guests, including media representatives, business partners, and consumers, attended the event.
