KIEV, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The Vynohradivka-Vulcanesti international border crossing between Ukraine and Moldova halted operations on Tuesday after an overnight Russian drone attack, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service (SBGS) said in a statement.
The infrastructure of the crossing, located in Ukraine's southern Odesa region, was damaged in the strikes, said the statement.
Traffic is being redirected to other border checkpoints, it said.
No immediate comment was available from the Russian side.
Last week, the SBGS reported that Russia had struck the Tabaky border crossing with Moldova with Shahed drones, damaging buildings and infrastructure at the facility. ■
