MINSK, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Belarus' gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 2.1 percent year on year in the first seven months of 2026, the National Statistical Committee said on Tuesday.
The preliminary estimate showed that GDP at current prices reached 180.5 billion Belarusian rubles (about 59.3 billion U.S. dollars), representing growth of 102.1 percent from the same period in 2025 at comparable prices.
The GDP deflator index for January-July stood at 113.2 percent compared with the same period of 2025, the Committee said.
Belarus has set a GDP growth target of 2.8 percent for 2026. ■
