MADRID, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and another seriously injured on Monday in a road accident in the northeastern Spanish province of Zaragoza, according to the Provincial Council of Zaragoza.
The accident occurred on the N-122 highway between the municipalities of Bulbuente and Malejan in Zaragoza Province after a car collided head-on with a truck. All four people killed were occupants of the car. The seriously injured person was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
A third car was also involved in the accident, but no one in that vehicle was injured.
Firefighters from the Provincial Council of Zaragoza, officers from the Civil Guard and emergency medical personnel were dispatched to the scene. ■
