MOSCOW, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Russia's foreign trade surplus rose around 14 percent year-on-year to 73.4 billion U.S. dollars in the first half of 2026, according to data published by Russia's Federal Customs Service on Monday.
Russia's total foreign trade turnover reached 365.6 billion dollars from January to June 2026, with exports and imports increasing to 219.5 billion and 146.1 billion dollars, respectively.
According to customs, mineral products accounted for the largest share of exports at 120.7 billion dollars, followed by metals and metal products at 40.1 billion dollars, and agricultural goods at 22.4 billion dollars. Machinery, equipment and vehicles made up the bulk of imports at 70.9 billion dollars.
Trade with Europe and Asia rose, the customs office said. Trade with the Americas and Africa fell. ■
