BERLIN, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- Police in Berlin were investigating a shooting on Sunday, two days after a 22-year-old man was shot and wounded in the German capital, local police said.
Unidentified assailants fired shots at a hair salon in eastern Berlin at around 6 a.m. (0400 GMT) on Sunday. Police also found at least one bullet hole at a neighboring nightclub, and it remained unclear which of the two businesses was the intended target.
No one was hurt, and police are investigating the incident.
The latest incident followed a shooting in south-central Berlin on Friday evening, when police officers heard gunshots and found a 22-year-old man with gunshot wounds. The man was treated in hospital, while police continued to search for the suspect.
German press agency dpa, citing a police spokesperson, reported police are investigating whether the two shootings are linked. ■
