LISBON, July 17 (Xinhua) -- A serious road accident involving three vehicles killed two people and injured at least five others on Friday morning in Lisbon.
The accident took place on Avenida da India, a riverside avenue in Lisbon, when a vehicle lost control and collided with two oncoming vehicles.
The victims were a 75-year-old woman who died at the scene and a 73-year-old man who died later in hospital.
The injured had been transported to nearby hospitals. ■
