MOSCOW, July 15 (Xinhua) -- Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday that Japan should stick to its pacifist Constitution and fully recognize the results of World War II.
In a written response to questions from a Xinhua correspondent, Zakharova said Moscow is closely monitoring Japan's accelerated "remilitarization" and its continued expansion of military activities.
Russia firmly rejects Japan's protest regarding the joint Russia-China military exercises, which were conducted in full accordance with international law, Zakharova said. ■
