KIEV, July 13 (Xinhua) -- The Ukrainian parliament has received a resignation letter from Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, Parliament Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said Monday.
"The parliament will consider this matter soon in accordance with the established procedure," Stefanchuk wrote on social media.
David Arakhamia, chairman of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction, said that lawmakers would consider Svyrydenko's resignation letter at the next parliamentary meeting.
On Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the government will undergo a reshuffle as part of efforts to implement the country's updated political strategy.
Svyrydenko took office as prime minister in July 2025. ■
