LONDON, July 8 (Xinhua) -- At least one person was taken to hospital after a reported gas canister explosion in Belfast city center on Wednesday, local media reported.
Emergency services were called to the scene near the AC Marriott hotel on Donegall Quay shortly after 1 p.m., according to the Belfast Telegraph.
Police, fire and ambulance crew attended the incident. Investigations into the explosion are underway. ■
