MINSK, July 6 (Xinhua) -- The Communist Party of China (CPC), over the past 105 years, has led China's transformation into an important actor in global governance, Anastasia Savinykh, analyst at the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research, said in an interview with Xinhua.

With its role in international affairs significantly enhanced, China has become a key player in improving global governance, boosting economic and social development and international exchanges, Savinykh said.

The expert explained that China-proposed initiatives -- such as the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative and the Global Governance Initiative -- have received positive responses from many countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and beyond.

"These initiatives promote multilateral cooperation, respect for diverse development paths and enhanced connectivity," she said.

The expert stressed that China's dialogue with other nations is based on equality and mutual respect, in contrast with approaches that tie modernization to external political conditions.

She also lauded China's vision of building a community with a shared future for humanity, saying it emphasizes mutual respect, development, security and cultural diversity as foundations of a more just and equitable international order.

Savinykh praised the CPC's leadership for enabling China's historic transformation.

"China's unique approach -- integrating traditional culture, socialist principles, long-term planning and modern technology -- has led to industrialization, reforms, poverty alleviation and the development of modern infrastructure, making China a crucial hub in industry, science, technology and global trade," she said.

The analyst highlighted China's success in eradicating absolute poverty, describing it as a remarkable achievement that has addressed a major challenge faced by many developing countries.

Beyond income growth, this progress has also brought about rural modernization, infrastructure development, education, healthcare and transportation, creating new opportunities for hundreds of millions of people, she added.

"Amid increasing global turbulence, China's ability to sustain stable growth is noteworthy," Savinykh said.

Despite external pressure and trade barriers, China's large domestic market and adaptive capabilities offer resilience and sustained development potential, she added.
