BERLIN, July 4 (Xinhua) -- The fire that engulfed two warehouse buildings at a wholesale market Friday evening in the southwestern German city of Stuttgart remained out of control on Saturday, local media reported.
The flames continued to threaten neighboring warehouse buildings early Saturday morning, said the reports, citing the German fire department.
No injuries have been reported, it said, adding that parts of the buildings are at risk of collapsing, preventing firefighters from entering them.
The fire department warned nearby residents that the smoke could cause unpleasant odors and advised them to keep their windows and doors closed. ■
