MOSCOW, June 16 (Xinhua) -- There are currently no official communication channels between Moscow and Kiev, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
"As you are aware, there are no official channels between Moscow and Kiev," he told reporters at a press briefing, responding to a question on whether Russia had received an official invitation for a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the G7 summit.
"For Zelensky's information, President (Vladimir) Putin has already laid out all positions and proposals," Peskov said. "It has been stated and reiterated multiple times that if Zelensky is prepared to engage in responsible and serious talks, the Kiev authorities know full well what these talks should cover, he may travel to Moscow at any time." ■
