EVIAN, France, June 15 (Xinhua) -- The European Union (EU) and France will sign a 15-billion-euro (17.42 billion U.S. dollars) loan on Wednesday through the EU's Security Action for Europe (SAFE) program, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Monday.
The words came at a press conference on the Group of Seven (G7) summit.
The three-day summit kicked off on Monday in Evian, a town in eastern France. It will focus on a range of issues, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Middle East tensions, balanced and sustainable economic growth, as well as artificial intelligence development, according to the agenda. ■
