MOSCOW, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Online gaming platform Roblox has become available again to users across Russia after fully complying with the country's legal requirements on user safety, Russia's ministry of digital development said Wednesday.
The Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media said it had previously held direct consultations with the platform's owners regarding the protection of underage users.
Roblox implemented a range of additional child safety measures, including a mechanism that restricts access to games based on age groups, and pledged to continue efforts to combat the spread of undesirable content, the ministry added.
The platform had been restricted since Dec. 3, over concerns regarding inappropriate content that could negatively affect the spiritual and moral development of children, according to Russian telecoms watchdog Roskomnadzor. ■
