MOSCOW, June 10 (Xinhua) -- More than 300,000 electricity users in the Zaporizhzhia region were left without power after a massive Ukrainian drone attack overnight, regional head Yevgeny Balitsky said on Wednesday.
Balitsky said Ukrainian forces had carried out 18 drone strikes targeting populated areas across the region, disrupting power supplies in 16 municipalities. Social facilities have been switched to backup power sources, while repair crews are working to restore power, he added.
Two civilians were injured and hospitalized in separate attacks, said the official. ■
