BEIJING, June 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 1911 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 55.78 degrees south latitude and 4.35 degrees west longitude. ■
