LONDON, May 1 (Xinhua) -- The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Friday reported a suspicious maritime incident near the coast of Yemen and advised vessels in the area to exercise heightened caution.
According to the warning, the master of a bulk carrier reported being approached by a skiff with a black hull carrying seven armed individuals.
The incident occurred approximately 92 nautical miles southwest of the Yemeni port city of Al Mukalla.
The UKMTO urged all vessels transiting the area to remain vigilant. ■
