MOSCOW, April 30 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian strikes over the past day killed four civilians and wounded 20 others across two regions, according to local governors on Thursday.
One civilian was killed and two others were wounded in the Kherson region, while three were killed and 18 were injured in the Belgorod region.
The Russian Defense Ministry said Thursday that its air defense systems downed 571 Ukrainian drones over the past 24 hours, as regional officials reported civilian casualties.
Over the same period, Russia struck Ukrainian energy infrastructure, drone assembly and launch sites, and temporary deployment points of Ukrainian troops and foreign fighters in 141 areas, the defense ministry said.
Russia's Black Sea Fleet destroyed four Ukrainian uncrewed surface vessels, it added. ■
