MOSCOW, April 27 (Xinhua) -- Ten people were injured in a Ukrainian drone strike on Russia's Vologda region, regional governor Georgy Filimonov said Monday.
"Among them, six have been hospitalized," he said, adding that the victims suffered burns caused by sulfuric acid.
The attack early Sunday damaged a high-pressure sulfuric acid pipeline at the Apatit industrial complex in Cherepovets, which produces ammonia and nitrogen fertilizers.
The governor said the sulfuric acid leak had been contained and that no dangerous chemical emissions were detected. ■
