BAKU, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas revenues exceeded the budget forecast by 446.1 million manats (about 262.4 million U.S. dollars), or 8.8 percent, in the first quarter of 2026, the finance ministry reported Wednesday.
The sector generated 5.53 billion manats (3.25 billion dollars) in January-March, accounting for 57.7 percent of total state budget revenues.
Tax authorities accounted for the largest share of non-oil income at 69.5 percent, or 3.85 billion manats (2.26 billion dollars), while customs revenues contributed 25.5 percent, totaling 1.41 billion manats (830 million dollars).
The remainder came from paid services provided by state-funded organizations, the lease of state property, and other sources. ■
