BERLIN, April 23 (Xinhua) -- The German government said on Thursday that it stands ready to contribute to ensuring freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law and national procedures, according to media reports.
It added that the Strait must remain open permanently, reliably, and free of restrictions or tolls, according to Reuters. ■
