MOSCOW, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and another injured in a fire on Wednesday night at an apartment residential building in the city of Blagoveshchensk in Russia's Amur region, local authorities said.
The blaze broke out on the third floor of a four-story building on Pionerskaya Street, according to the regional branch of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The victims include a child, and the injured is also a child and has been hospitalized, the ministry said, adding that the fire was later contained to about 60 square meters.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. ■
