MOSCOW, April 14 (Xinhua) -- Russian forces struck Ukrainian energy facilities and military-related targets, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.
According to the ministry, the raids targeted Ukrainian energy and transport infrastructure, drone storage sites and fuel depots. Temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries were also hit in 142 areas.
Russian air defense systems shot down 14 guided aerial bombs, six U.S.-made HIMARS rockets and 391 fixed-wing drones over the past day. In the Black Sea, two Ukrainian unmanned surface vessels were destroyed, it added. ■
