MOSCOW, April 14 (Xinhua) -- External power supply to the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant has been restored after a brief disruption, the plant's operator said Tuesday.
In a statement on the plant's Telegram channel, the power supply via the 330 kv Ferosplavna-1 transmission line was restored, allowing external electricity supply to resume at the level required for the facility's operations.
All systems are operating normally, with technological processes stable and radiation levels remaining within natural background values, the statement said.
The outage occurred earlier on Tuesday after an automatic shutdown of the reserve Ferosplavna-1 line, triggering the activation of diesel generators to maintain normal operation. ■
