YEREVAN, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Ameriabank, a leading corporate lender in Armenia, has provided 60 million U.S. dollars in financing for the construction of an artificial intelligence data center by Firebird AI, Armenpress reported on Thursday.
The facility being developed in collaboration with Nvidia, Dell Technologies and the Armenian government is expected to become the most powerful AI data center in the region upon completion. It will offer research institutions and technology firms the infrastructure needed to deploy modern AI technologies at scale.
In June 2025, Firebird unveiled a vision for a 500-million-dollar public-private partnership with the Armenian government and Nvidia. The project aims to build advanced AI infrastructure to accelerate technological innovation and position the Caucasus region as an AI hub. ■
