COPENHAGEN, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Denmark's ruling Social Democrats remained the largest party in Tuesday's parliamentary election, but appeared to suffer a significant loss of seats compared to their 2022 performance, according to preliminary official results.
With 91.4 percent of ballots counted by 23:00 local time (2200 GMT), the Social Democrats had won 22.3 percent of the vote, followed by the Socialist People's Party with 11.4 percent of the vote and Venstre, the Liberal Party of Denmark, with 10.6 percent. ■
