ISTANBUL, March 13 (Xinhua) -- A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck Türkiye's northern Tokat province early Friday, with no casualties or damage reported, said the country's disaster management authority.
The earthquake occurred at 03:35 a.m. local time (0035 GMT) in the Niksar district and was also felt in neighboring provinces, said the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority.
Field assessment and damage inspection are underway. ■
