MADRID, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and four others injured in a residential building fire late Tuesday in Spain's northern province of Burgos, local authorities said.
Regional emergency services said they received several calls at 10:44 p.m. local time (2144 GMT) reporting the blaze.
Local police, firefighters and medical teams arrived immediately on the scene.
All seven people were treated at the scene, two were confirmed dead there, and the other five were taken to hospitals, one of whom later died there. ■
