KIEV, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Tuesday that the United States has proposed holding another round of talks involving Ukraine, the United States and Russia next week.
According to the Ukrinform news agency, Zelensky said that the meeting was postponed by the U.S. side and would depend on developments in the Middle East, adding that the talks were originally planned to take place on Tuesday or Wednesday in Türkiye.
Earlier on Tuesday, Zelensky said on social media that he had spoken with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan about the situation in Iran. Erdogan said Türkiye was ready to host the next round of trilateral talks among Ukraine, the United States and Russia, Zelensky said, adding that Ukraine welcomed the proposal. ■
