MOSCOW, Dec. 19 (Xinhua) -- Russia's gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 1 percent year on year in 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the annual press conference on Friday.
Putin said that over the last three years, the overall GDP growth reached 9.7 percent. He added that the country's unemployment rate was at a record low of 2.2 percent in 2025.
Russia's budget deficit amounts to 2.6 percent of GDP in 2025, and is expected to decrease to 1.6 percent of GDP next year, Putin said. ■
